Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh commissioned INS Mahendragiri, the sixth Project 17A stealth frigate, at Visakhapatnam. Built with 75% indigenous content, the warship strengthens India’s maritime security, enhances blue-water capabilities, and reinforces the nation’s commitment to Aatmanirbhar Bharat, advanced defence technology, and a combat-ready Indian Navy.
