Orientation Program for Zakir Hussain Delhi College (University of Delhi) Students at Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan (SSS)
Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan organized an orientation program for the student interns of Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi (DU), on 24th September 2025 from 11:00 am onwards. The event was graced by Prof. Nandini Sinha Kapoor (Director, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, IGNOU, Chapter Head-Delhi Chapter, Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan) and Prof. Suresh Kumar (Professor, Department of African Studies, University of Delhi, Co-Chapter Head, Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan). In this program, 21 students commenced their internship with Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan.
The event began with a welcome note by Parima Sharma (Organizing Secretary, Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan). She welcomed the dignitaries and students. After this, she invited Prof. Nandini Sinha Kapoor to deliver her remarks. Prof. Kapoor welcomed the students and introduced them to Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan, its vision, and mission. She also explained the structure of a quality research paper step by step.
Further, Prof. Suresh Kumar addressed the students. He explained the meaning of Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan, its historical background, and its relevance in today’s tariff era. He also elaborated on the eight verticals in detail. In addition, he briefly explained the structure and content of an ideal research paper in a very simple manner.
After this, the students were given time to decide on which vertical they wanted to work during the internship. After a short break, they informed the Sansthan about their primary and secondary choices of verticals for research. The event concluded with closing remarks by Prof. Suresh Kumar and a formal vote of thanks delivered by Parima Sharma.
