ISRO’s LVM3 M6 mission will launch the US-based AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird Block-2 satellite on December 24, aiming to deliver high-speed cellular broadband directly to smartphones worldwide. The satellite is part of AST’s plan to build the first space-based mobile network, expanding coverage beyond its earlier BlueBird 1–5 satellites launched in 2024.
