The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held February 16–20 at Bharat Mandapam, New
Delhi (with the Declaration signed Feb 21), was the fourth in the global AI summit
series (following Bletchley Park 2023, Seoul 2024, and Paris 2025) and the FIRST
hosted by a Global South nation — a signal in itself.
It brought together 20+ heads of government, 59 ministerial representatives from
100+ countries, and 3,250+ speakers across hundreds of sessions. The summit was
anchored in three Sutras — People, Planet, Progress — and seven operational
Chakras. The tone set by PM Modi was clear: India will not merely adopt AI, it will
shape AI for all of humanity.
