The Ministry of Defence has inked a ₹659.47 crore contract to procure advanced Night Sight (Image Intensifier) systems and accessories for the Indian Army’s 7.62×51 mm SIG 716 assault rifles. With over 51% indigenous content, these night sights can engage targets up to 500 metres under starlight.
