He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, a qualified Chartered Accountant, and a graduate in Commerce from Delhi University. Before founding Krishnomics Legal, Gagan served as a Principal Associate at Amarchand & Mangaldas (now Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas) and as a Manager at KPMG, honing his expertise in high-stakes legal and financial matters.
Gagan specializes in tax and commercial litigation, where he has consistently represented corporate entities before prestigious judicial forums, including the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tax Tribunals, and other forums. His role as Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India at the Delhi High Court reflects his significant stature in the legal field. Gagan is also the author of two authoritative books on Tax Prosecutions and Search and Seizure under the Income Tax Act.
A recognized thought leader, Gagan frequently writes insightful articles on tax and contemporary legal issues. His commentary is widely published in national and international journals, providing valuable perspectives on the evolving legal landscape. He also shares his insights across professional forums and TV channels, engaging in discussions on contemporary legal topics.
