The Standing Committee on Defence has commended the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for achieving major milestones in hypersonic and missile technologies and saving an estimated ₹2,64,156 crore over the past five years through indigenous research and development. The panel highlighted DRDO’s role in strengthening India’s self-reliant defence innovation ecosystem.
