The Indian Coast Guard commissioned its new-generation fast patrol vessel ICGS Amulya in Goa on 19 December 2025. Built by Goa Shipyard Limited with over 60 % indigenous content, Amulya will undertake surveillance, interdiction, search-and-rescue, anti-smuggling and pollution response operations — strengthening coastal security and homegrown shipbuilding capabilities.
