Arthaayam is multi-disciplinary double blind peer-reviewed journal devoted to publishing papers on various aspects of India’s economic growth. Primarily, it focuses on eight identifiable aspects or pillars of India’s economic growth, namely, Dynamic Population, Zero Unemployment, Rising Economic Power, Indomitable Security, Leader in Science, Technology, Research, and Innovation, Sustainable Environment, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The Globe is One Family) & Ethics and Value-based Economic Development.
4.1. Initial Screening
All submissions undergo a preliminary editorial review to check for relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to author guidelines, and originality (including plagiarism screening). Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be desk-rejected.
4.2 Double-Blind Review
Each eligible manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent subject experts. Both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous throughout the process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, clarity, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal’s themes.
4.3 Review Outcomes
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be to:
- Accept (with or without minor revisions)
 - Revise and Resubmit (major revisions required)
 - Reject (unsuitable for publication)

Authors are expected to respond constructively to reviewer comments and submit revised manuscripts within the specified time frame. Revised submissions may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers, if necessary.
- Editorial Decision
 
The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board make the final decision on acceptance or rejection, taking into account reviewer feedback and the overall fit with the journal’s vision.
- Ethical Considerations
 
The journal adheres to the best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Conflicts of interest, data fabrication, plagiarism, or unethical practices will result in rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript.
- Timeliness & Transparency
 
The peer review process is designed to be efficient, with authors typically receiving the first decision within 2-3 weeks. Authors are kept informed of the status of their manuscript throughout the review process. The average time for peer review process is 6-8 weeks.
4.8 Type of Submission
The Journal accepts the following types of works for publication:
- Research Article: Word Limit –upto 8000 words
 - Review Article: Word Limit –upto 10000 words.
 
Besides these, the journal also publishes Special Issues and Series on topics of contemporary relevance.
