India and China held their first-ever Corps Commander-level talks outside Ladakh, at the Wacha-Damai Border Personnel Meeting Point in Arunachal Pradesh, led by Lt Gen Girish Kalia. The meeting marks an expansion of border dialogue beyond Ladakh, aimed at managing tensions and improving stability, especially amid reported Chinese activity near Taksing, ahead of India’s BRICS Summit hosting.
