The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. to lease two MQ-9B SeaGuardian High-Altitude Long-Endurance remotely piloted aircraft systems for the Indian Navy. The lease will enhance maritime surveillance, intelligence, reconnaissance and security capabilities, strengthening India’s ability to monitor and respond to evolving maritime challenges.
