On the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh affirmed that the Indian Armed Forces remain fully prepared to tackle evolving security threats, including proxy wars and infiltration. He highlighted continued defence modernisation, self-reliance and technological advancement while paying tribute to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War.
